How to analyze a hybrid.....

So, let's consider the problem we face. If the chicken is a two-species hybrid as I've stated, how do you prove it? What is the evidence?
I think this is where I lost everybody. It's easy enough to consider the Asiatic games as described in the earlier May 29, 2011 blog as being something radically different from a jungle fowl. Proof is as follows...

What has been missed is the fact that the single alleles, genes, which follow and that were first studied more then 120 years ago are now understood to be far more complex then formerly realized. They are not simple point mutations. These are evolved genes differing by many base pairs from the accepted wild-type alleles. As such they could not possibly have come about in the relatively short time (8000 + years) since domestication of the fowl. This and this alone should be the smoking gun. Complex genes/alleles that are not found in the Red Jungle Fowl had to come from somewhere else, i.e. another species, long before the chicken was ever domesticated.

Think about it.

I can't believe it's been eight years.....

Well hello again! It's been awhile. I really liked this site on Blogger and how this discourse was progressing. Unfortunately I was phished back in 2011, really a thoughtless and insensitive thing to do to someone not very computer literate. With a little help, I've been able to find my way back to my blog, to reclaim it. I hope to continue and update you on things I've learned in the interim. First, though, I need to review my own posts here so I don't repeat myself unnecessarily.
